Membership Paths

Why Join

AggieQuant has two layers: an open General Body for students with curiosity, and a selective Core Program for track-specific training, projects, recruiting prep, and firm-facing opportunities.

The Short Version

Start open. Go deeper when you want the screened track.

General Body uses a short application and is meant to be broad. Core Program applicants should be ready for behavioral questions and a technical screen tied to Software & Infrastructure or Trading & Research.

Two Layers

Choose the level of commitment

01

General Body

A short form for Discord access, announcements, public workshops, social events, beginner resources, and a low-pressure way to stay connected.

02

Core Program

A selective track for students seeking pods, mock interviews, firm treks, deeper learning sessions, and resume-ready work.

What You Get

Benefits by membership layer

General community

Discord, announcements, open workshops, social events, and a place to learn around students who are also figuring the field out.

Core recruiting prep

Discovery Day prep, resume review, outreach reps, mock interviews, and post-cycle debriefs for students admitted into the Core Program.

Open reps & resources

Market-making exercises, trading challenges, roadmaps, and reading lists that help General Body members build toward the Core track.

Core sponsor access

Sponsor touchpoints can include invite-only learning sessions, firm treks, and opt-in resume book access for vetted Core members.

Core project pods

Team sprints and builder trials where you finish real work, the kind you can point to in an interview. General Body can prepare; Core members get matched into pods.

A visible path up

Start with the form, attend open sessions, try the work, then apply to the Core Program when your interest has something real behind it.

How It Works

One open form, then screened tracks

01

General form

Basic info and interests. No probability screen, no coding screen, no resume book gate.

02

Core application

Share what you've tried, track preference, pod interests, and a resume link. This is where the selective review starts.

03

Track screen

Software applicants face coding/systems questions. Trading & Research applicants face probability, statistics, markets, and research reasoning.

Still Deciding?

Try one rep before you apply

If you're not sure whether this is for you, join General Body first. Check the recruiting window, pick one guide for your stage, then apply to Core once the work starts feeling specific.

Basic qualifications: read the fit notes before you over-specialize.
Recruiting window: see what matters now before you over-plan.
Rubric: see exactly what a strong application shows.
Semester plan: build one so your application lands on something real.

Ready? Join.

Use the General Body application if you want the open layer. Use the Core application if you are ready for track-specific screening.
